MVP Inventory App Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Christian Busch, doing business as Mulligan Valley Partners (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information in connection with MVP Inventory App (the “Application”). The Application may appear as Inventory (MVP Inventory App) on an eBay authorization screen.

1. Scope and purpose
The Application is a private tool used to manage our own resale inventory and authorized eBay seller activity. It is not currently offered as a service for unrelated sellers. This policy covers the Application’s eBay integration, listing workbench, related records, and account-deletion notification service. It does not replace eBay’s privacy notice or the separate privacy notice for visitors to our public website.
2. Information we process and where it comes from
Depending on the functions used, we process:
- Seller and authorization information: account-reference information provided by eBay, authorization status and permissions, and the access credentials necessary for the integration. Authorization occurs through eBay; the Application does not ask for or store the seller’s eBay password.
- Listing and inventory information: item identifiers, titles, descriptions, photographs and image links, prices, quantities, item specifications, listing status, and shipping and return settings. Sources include eBay API responses, seller exports, and records supplied by the operator.
- Operator-supplied material: product photographs, item notes, package measurements, proposed listing changes, and records of actions taken through the workbench. This material may contain personal information if someone includes it in a photograph, description, or note.
- Account-deletion notifications: identifiers and event information supplied by eBay so that we can identify and address information associated with an account-deletion or closure request. A notice may concern a person who has never used our Application.
- Operational information: request times, authentication and security events, processing status, error information, and technical information needed to operate and protect the Application and its public notification endpoint.
- Privacy correspondence: information you provide when contacting us, and the limited information needed to verify and respond to your request.
The current listing integration is not an order, buyer-address, payout, or payment-processing integration. Receiving permission for an API scope does not mean we use every function or collect every category that scope permits. We will assess and disclose additional processing before enabling materially different functions.
3. How we use information
We use information as necessary to manage and review our listings and inventory; prepare and carry out authorized listing-related work; maintain accurate operational records; secure and troubleshoot the Application; respond to privacy requests and eBay account-deletion notices; and meet applicable legal obligations and eBay’s requirements.
We do not sell or rent personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use information about other eBay members to build marketing lists or send unsolicited marketing messages. We do not use personal information obtained through eBay to train artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
4. Disclosures and service providers
Access is limited to the operator and people or service providers with a legitimate need to support the purposes described in this policy. These can include hosting, security, credential-management, and technical-support providers. We limit disclosures to what is needed for the relevant service and require appropriate confidentiality and data-protection safeguards.
We exchange information with eBay as necessary to operate the authorized integration and comply with its requirements. We may disclose limited information to professional advisers or public authorities where necessary to meet legal obligations or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. We may also make a specific disclosure at the affected person’s direction, where permitted by law and eBay’s requirements.
A seller’s decision to publish product information makes that information visible to the intended marketplace audience. We do not publish private account information, authorization credentials, or account-deletion notices. This policy does not authorize uses or disclosures prohibited by eBay’s terms.
5. Hosting and security
The listing workbench and administrative functions are intended for restricted private access. A separate, internet-reachable HTTPS endpoint receives eBay’s account-deletion notifications. Its public accessibility does not make the notification inbox or the private workbench publicly readable.
We use operator-controlled systems and service-provider infrastructure. Processing may occur in the United States and other countries in which the relevant providers operate. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we put those safeguards in place before the transfer occurs.
Safeguards include access restrictions, TLS for communications with eBay and the public notification endpoint, separate storage of application secrets, signature verification for incoming eBay notifications, and encryption of notification payloads at rest. We do not represent that every application file or database is encrypted, or that any system is completely secure. Security incidents are investigated and reported to eBay and affected persons when required by applicable obligations.
6. Retention and deletion
We retain personal information only for the period necessary for the specific purposes described here and any applicable legal retention requirement. Retention decisions consider the type of information, whether the relevant activity remains active, any applicable deletion request or eBay instruction, security needs, and any specific legal obligation. We do not retain all information indefinitely merely because it might be useful later.
We receive and verify eBay Marketplace Account Deletion and Closure notifications. Processing is currently operator-managed. We review received notifications on a regular schedule, and we retain notification records only as long as needed to complete and evidence that review. Receipt and acknowledgment of a notification are not, by themselves, confirmation that deletion is complete. We review the notice, determine whether we hold information relating to the identified person, and address matching information and relevant copies under our control. We do not delete another person’s records solely because their username resembles one in a notice.
We delete personal information promptly when required by eBay, by an applicable valid request, when it is no longer necessary, or when otherwise required under applicable obligations. Any exception must rest on a specific and demonstrable legal requirement. If a record must be retained to satisfy a legal obligation, we limit the retained information and its use to that obligation and delete it when the obligation ends.
Deletion review includes relevant exports, derived records, notification payloads, credentials, and backup or recovery copies under our control. We protect copies awaiting permitted removal, exclude them from ordinary use, and prevent them from reintroducing deleted information into active systems. Deletion is not considered complete until the relevant copies have been addressed.
7. Your choices and privacy requests
You may contact privacy@mvp.sv to ask whether we hold information about you, request access or correction, request deletion, or raise a privacy concern. Additional rights, such as objection, restriction, portability, an authorized-agent request, or a complaint to a supervisory authority, may apply depending on your location and the law applicable to the processing. We will assess and respond to requests within the periods required by applicable law, without unlawful discrimination for exercising a privacy right.
We may request only the information reasonably needed to verify identity, authority, and the records concerned. Please do not send your eBay password, API tokens, payment-card details, or unnecessary identity documents.
The authorized seller may revoke the Application’s access through eBay’s third-party application access settings. Revocation stops further authorized access but does not itself erase information already held; deletion is handled as described above. Requests concerning eBay’s own records should be made directly to eBay under its User Privacy Notice.
8. Cookies and children
The private workbench uses session and security mechanisms needed to authenticate access and protect requests. This policy does not describe cookies or analytics used separately by our public website or eBay; consult their respective notices.
The Application is an internal business tool for its adult operator, not a service directed to children. If you believe we hold a child’s personal information inappropriately, contact us so we can investigate and take the action required by applicable law.
9. Changes and contact
We may revise this policy when our practices or applicable requirements change. The “Last updated” date above identifies the current version. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before a material change in how personal information is used.
